Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain Promises a Refreshing Take Highlighting Social Issues

The latest release of Hum TV’s iconic ‘Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain’ will consist a four-episode short series, based on real-life situations, concluding with unexpected twists. 

Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain’ focuses on highlighting various social elements and situations. The series primarily focuses on individual emotions across different age groups and social classes. This time around the series will show characters that find themselves constrained by society’s predefined roles and weighed down by its anticipations. 

The series has an ensemble cast starring Amar Khan, Sonya Hussyn, Muneeb Butt, Hassan Ahmed, Madiha Imam, Nadia Khan, Syed Jibran, Haroon Shahid among others.

Titled, ‘First Position’ the episode walks you through the academic arena and follows the life of a student who is pushed to the brink, fighting a battle against overwhelming pressure and a relentless pursuit of perfection.   

The story hits close to home for most students, as they will be able to relate to the pressures of achieving the coveted first position and the magnanimous challenges that come with it.

Dhaga: Navigating the weight of familial expectations 

The episode ‘Dhaga’ looks into the unforgiving repercussions of familial obligations. It navigates through the complexities of societal norms and demands and follows the life of a woman who finds herself entangled in the web of tradition. Her primary objective revolves around marrying into affluence to alleviate her stepfamily out of poverty.
