Winners of Luxus Grand 4th Galaxy Lollywood Awards 2018

The fourth edition of Galaxy Lollywood Awards has concluded with all its glory. The people voted for their favorite films and performances in 20 categories in Pakistan’s first of its kind online people choice awards and let their voices be heard.

Without further ado, here are the nominations and winners of Luxus Grand 4th Galaxy Lollywood Awards 2018.

Best Film

The nominations in this category were: Balu Mahi, Mehrunisa V Lub U, Na Maloom Afraad 2, Punjab Nahi Jaungi, and Saawan.

The winner is Punjab Nahi Jaungi (Salman Iqbal, Humayun Saeed, Shahzad Nasib, and Jerjees Seja).

Best Actor in a Leading Role Male

The nominations in this category were: Ahsan Khan (Chupan Chupai), Danish Taimoor (Mehrunisa V Lub U), Fahad Mustafa (Na Maloom Afraad 2), Humayun Saeed (Punjab Nahi Jaungi), and Shaan Shahid (Arth).

The winner is Humayun Saeed (Punjab Nahi Jaungi).

Best Actor in a Leading Role Female

The nominations in this category were: Ainy Jaffri (Balu Mahi), Mahira Khan (Verna), Mehwish Hayat (Punjab Nahi Jaungi), Syra Shahroz (Chalay Thay Saath), and Uzma Hassan (Arth).

The winner is Mehwish Hayat (Punjab Nahi Jaungi).

Best Director

Best Story

The nominations in this category were: Atiya Zaidi (Chalay Thay Saath), Khalil ur Rehman Qamar (Punjab Nahi Jaungi), Mashood Qadri (Saawan), Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Ali Meerza (Na Maloom Afraad 2), and Yasir Nawaz (Mehrunisa V Lub U).

The winner is Khalil ur Rehman Qamar (Punjab Nahi Jaungi).

Best Actor in a Supporting Role Male

The nominations in this category were: Faizan Khawaja (Chupan Chupai), Gohar Rasheed (Rangreza), Mohib Mirza (Arth), Mohsin Abbas Haider (Na Maloom Afraad 2), and Sohail Ahmad (Punjab Nahi Jaungi).

The winner is ‘Help Me Durdana’ (Punjab Nahi Jaungi).

Summary:

The biggest winner of the fourth edition of GALA is ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ which won 10 out of 20 awards, taking trophies for the five biggest categories, including Best Film, Best Story, and Best Director. It’s a huge and well-deserved victory!

On second position we have ‘Na Maloom Afraad 2’ which could win only four awards, including Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Best Actor in a Comic Role.

‘Arth’ won two awards, whereas ‘Balu Mahi’, ‘Thora Jee Le’, ‘Chalay Thay Saath’, and ‘Verna’ could win one award each.
